Cross Purpose is a four-piece contemporary Christian band formed in Brewster, NY in 2005. Their web site is http://www.crosspurposeband.com/. They play a variety of styles that range from straight ahead blues to progressive rock with an occasional return to the days of psychedelia. Their sound relies on a very solid rhythmic foundation to support their strong vocals and dazzling lead guitar. Cross Purpose uniquely combines mostly original material, powerful arrangements, and contemporary lyrics that go beyond the typical. Come out and support this new band!
